Apples, apples and more apples!

Here's a list of some of the things we did together this week!

• We reviewed the life cycle of a plant

  
  

• We discussed different parts of a tree

  
  

• We reviewed what plants need in order to grow

  
  

• We learned about different part of an apple

  
  

• We learned about a famous artist, Paul Cezanne and had fun painting ( apple- still life paintings).

  
  

• We listened to stories and songs about apples, trees, and fall season

  
  

• We did a taste test to find out which apples we like the most (red or green apples?). Guess what? they were both equally sweet! I was expecting the green to be tart. Oh well, now we have an excuse to engage in another food tasting activity soon :o)

  
  

• We had fun with activities that helped us determined if the fruits were apples or not apples (and other themed-related activities)

  
  

•  Of course we had fun with individual, partners and whole-group lessons!
